Note: In addition to his job as postmaster (appointed by Pres. F. D. Roosevelt on 18 June 1934), Charles served as president of the local fire company and was secretary of the water department. He was one of the founders of the Sellersville Savings and Loan Bank, serving as President and director for over 30 years. He also completed tax returns for many of the town residents.
