a. Note:   He emigrated to the U.S. in 1866, and was living in Plains, PA in 1870 & 1880. Bought property on Wilcox Street 13-Jan-1873, and built the house in which the younger children were born. He and Mary moved to Colorado after 1889, to a ranch on the White River. He is buried with his granddaughter, Mary Loftus in Plains, PA.
