Notes
a. Note:   ick in Austin, Travis, Texas, sponsored her father in able for him to emigrate to America. Charlie emigrated in 1894 at the age of 2, to Galveston, Galveston, Texas. I have found records for Joe Frederick and Hattie Loehr Frederick, and I had a picture of Joe, Hattie, and Aunt Rainnie in her front yard on 9014 Talcott Road, Houston, Harris, Texas.
His Uncle was Joe Frederick of Austin, Travis, Texas. I still believe that he was probably born out of wedlock to sister of Joe Frederick, probably Anna, in Moravia because Charlie's service papers did not state his parents only his wife, Bessie Frederick. We will never know for sure who his parents were. Now, I have two dead ends: Linderman and Frederick.
No sources, nor information on Charlie's mother or who his father was. I believe that he was probably born out of wedlock. No record of a marriage. This is a dead end. We will never know for sure, anyone who knew was not talking, and they have all passed on.
Note:   Aunt Agnes Rainnie Frederick (Christ) told me that her Uncle Joe Freder

Born in Mala Lhota, Moravia on April 20, 1892. No middle name, when he joined the service he used F. for his middle name, because they told him that he had to have one. (His headstone birthdate is not accurate-he was born in 1892 according to his citizenship papers and my Aunt, his daughter). He was also known as Karel Fredrich.
Parents: Frank Frederick and Pauline (Cestesky) Frederick.
Emigrated: 1894 from Czechoslavakia, according to the 1930 U.S. Census for Harris County, Texas. Last known residence was Pusta Polom, Ostrava, Moravian-Silesia.
His daughter, Agnes Renie Frederick Christ, told me that he emigrated about the age of 16, and came to reside with his Uncle Joe Frederick, of Austin, Travis County, Texas. Uncle Joe had to sponsor him in order for him to come to the United States. When he sponsored him, that meant that he would promise to support him until he found work, and help him find work.
Married Elizabeth Annie "Bessie" Mazac on October 12, 1914 at the SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, in Granger, Williamson County, Texas.
Charlie & Bessie were Catholic, and attended church in Granger & Crosby, Texas.
Father of Agnes "Renie" Frederick (Christ), Leroy Eugene "Lee" Frederick, Juanita Elizabeth "Punkin" Frederick (Christ),Woodrow "Woody", and Charles "Chas" Frederick.
He was a Farmer, Cobbler, and a Teacher. Grandpa Charlie or "Chas" or "Karel" was a lifelong member of the S.P.J.S.T.
Served in the Czech-Slovak Army for the United States in World War I, in France. Charlie earned his U.S. Citizenship serving in the war.
Died 9 March 1947 in Houston, Harris County, Texas of Stomach Cancer.
