 PORTER, ALBERT (BERT) E. - Aged 83, Penn Craft, Brownsville, R.D. 1, died Friday, November 16, 1962 at 1:15 p.m. in the Uniontown Hospital. Born July 16, 1879, he was a son of the late Hezekiah and Eleanor (sic) Thistlethwaite Porter and was a life-long resident of Luzerne Township. He was a retired pump station engineer of the Columbus Gas Co., where he had worked for over thirty years. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Curtis Bolen, Penn Craft; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Ida Miller Porter in 1947. The family will receive friends in the Ross Funeral Home, 126 Front St., Brownsville, today from 7-9, Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 until Monday at 1:30 p.m., the hour of service. The Rev. H. L. Davis will officiate. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
