Mr. Wise was a former resident of Morris township where he served as constable for some time. In 1888 he was united in marriage with Miss Ida Brownlee, of near Claysville, who survives with the following children: Andrew Wise, of Washington, Pa.; Mrs. Jessie Patterson, of New Martinsville, W. Va., and Miss Georgia Wise, at home. Five grandchildren and one brother, Dr. J. H. Wise, of Time, also survive. The funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Enon Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. Clegg of Harveys. Interment in the Enon cemetery.
