*Per JPmiaou: Nagykoválló was in Nyitra county; it's now Koválov in Slovakia. Jewish residents were recorded in Sasvár, which is now Šaštín,[Senica,]Slovakia.
According to my mother, one of her grandparents was "German" (no other details). Many of the Drechsler families I've been researching came from the Bratislava, Czech Rep. area and other places in Slovakia, and a close relative's Drechsler family was living in Vienna, Austria in the WWII era. It's only about one hour by train from Bratislava to Vienna.
I haven't been able to find much information on Joseph Schulmann......
He was "in the wine business in Budapest" per my mom.

The settlements of Budafok, Nagytétény and Budatétény were united in 1950. Some parts of the district are ideal for wine production because of the Tétényi plateau and its slopes along the Danube. Budafok is called the town of wine and champagne.

This Jewish cemetery is the largest of its kind in Hungary. It was opened in 1893, next to the New Public Cemetery (Uj koztemeto). The memorial to the 600,000 Hungarian victims of the Holocaust is located in this cemetery.
