  OBITUARY Diamond Drill (Crystal Falls newspaper) July 7 1900 "Iron County Notes"
 Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Helgemo, wife of Olof Helgemo, died at her home in the township of Bates last Tuesday night from a cancer complication.
 The deceased was born in Sweden fifty-two years ago. She was married to Mr. Helgemo in 1869, and in 1884 came direct from Sweden to Iron River, her husband having preceded her four years previously, settling on a farm in Bates township where they have since resided. She leaves a husband and eleven children, all of whom reside either in Iron River or Bates township, to mourn her death.
 The funeral services were held at the late home yesterday afternoon, Rev. John Peterson preaching the sermon, and were attended by the largest concourse of sorrowing friends ever seen in the county. The procession to the cemetery was an imposing one and was fully half a mile in length.
  OBITUARY of husband Olaf Sr. 1921 says he married Karrie E. and she died 1890 [1900]. Assume "Karrie E." is Caroline Elizabeth. His obituary mentions 11 children, as hers does.
