Services for George Brantley Ludlam Sr., 85, will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. at Sardis Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hines and Rev. Kenny Cousar officiating and burial following in Fairview Cemetery Addition.
He died Friday, Aug. 7, at Henry County Health and Rehab in Abbeville.
He was born April 15, 1924 in Barbour County to the late George Washington and Daisy Breed Ludlam.
He was a lifelong resident of Eufaula.
Survivors include wife Mamie Ludlam, daughters Pat (Wayne) Gilmore and Linda (Roger) Coates, son George B. (Dianna) Ludlam Jr. and sister Margaret Houston, all of Eufaula; brother Monroe Ludlam of Oregon and grandchildren Steven Ludlam, Brandon Coates, Jennifer Morris, Jason Coates and great-grandchildren Jenna Morris and Finn Coates and brother-in-law Clyde Beasley.
Active pallbearers include Lee Swain, Val Morris, Earl Gilmore, Johnny Gilmore, Ronnie Marshall and Jerry McGilvary.
