a. Note:   Clarence L. Trout, 42, whose farm home is near Union, Mich., died at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 1942, in the Elkhart General Hospital, following a sinus operation. He was admitted to the hospital one week before.
 The body will be at the Geisler mortuary, Constantine, until Tuesday evening. The service will be conducted at the Trout home at 2 p.m. (ewt) Wednesday by the Rev. Wayne Paulen of the Methodist church at Lagrange. Burial will be in the East cemetery at Union.
 Mr. Trout was born in Cass County, Michigan, on April 29, 1900 to W. Harvey and Julia (Nutting) Trout, and had lived at his last home 22 years. His marriage to Wilma Boyer took place in Cassopolis, Mich., on Feb. 15, 1922. She survives him with his parents. who live near Union; 3 daughters, Mrs. Leonard Stults of Elkhart, and Mary and Ruth at home; a son Clare, also at home; a grandson; a brother Claude Trout of Union, and 4 sisters, Mrs. Carl McMurray of Elkhart, Mrs. Darcy Barnes and Mrs. Clemence Cleveland, both of Detroit, and Mrs. Clyde Harmon of Cassopolis.
