a. Note:   Wilma B. Trout, 83, of 70231 Trout Road, Union, Mich., died Friday afternoon (May 6, 1988) at Elkhart General Hospital. after a short illness.
 She was born Sept. 4, 1904, in Cass County, to Palmer A. and A. Maude (Stutsman) Boyer. She married Clarence Trout on Feb. 15, 1922, in Cass County. He died in November 1942.
 Surviving are a son, Clare of Jones: three daughters. Mrs. Leonard (Velma) Stults, New Holland, Pa., and Mrs. Dorsey (Mary) Norris and Mrs. Ralph. (Ruth) Kreischer, both of Ocala, Fla.; nine grandchildren: seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edson Boyer, Union.
 A brother and a granddaughter are deceased.
 Mrs. Trout was a lifetime resident of the Union area. She had worked as a clerk at Drake's and Ziesel's department stores in Elkhart. She was a member of the Hillcrest United Methodist Church and the YWCA, both of Elkhart.
 Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Geisler - Eley Funeral Home, Constantine, and from 12 noon to 2 p .m . Monday at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, Elkhart; where services will be at 2 p.m., Monday.
 Officiating will be the Rev. Don Carpenter, pastor at Hlllcrest.
 Burial will be in the East Union Cemetery, Union.
