a. Note:   PETER GUIMOND (published on September 28, 1999) PETER RICHARD GUIMOND Wapish-Ka-Niquat (White Cloud) Peacefully on Sunday, September 26, 1999 at the George M. Guimond Personal Care Home, Ft. Alexander, Manitoba, Peter Richard Guimond has finished his journey and gone to be with his loved ones. He was predeceased by his wife Verna; his parents, John George and Sarah Guimond; a sister Suzanne Swampy and by brothers, John, Gordon and by one grandchild Randall George Bird Jr. Peter leaves to cherish his memory his children, daughters, Bertha Swampy (Gabe), Marlene Guimond and Leona Guimond; by his sons, Dennis (Joan), Brian (Cheryl) and one sister Martha Daniels as well as 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. We would like to thank the following for all their help in taking care of our father Dr. Van Zyl, Dr. Neimand and the nurses and ambulance crew, Ken and Irene Gunter and the staff of the Pine Falls Hospital and a special thanks to the staff of the George M. Guimond Personal Care Home and as well to Charles Scribe of Winnipeg - KITCHI MEQWEETCH. Wake services will be held at the family home (#660) North Shore, Ft. Alexander, Manitoba, beginning Monday evening. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Ft. Alexander, Manitoba with Fr. F. Paradis officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gerald Swampy, Patrick Swampy, Jason Guimond, Dwayne Guimond, Garry Guimond, Paul Guimond, Gabe Swampy Jr. and Kevin Guimond. Honorary pallbearers will be Cheryl R.
