Note: Aug, 1870 St. Andrews no, 12 May 1876/ This is to Certify that Wm IrvineSt Andrews no. that his daughter Mary died at my place on the month of august One Thousand eight Hundred & Seventy and that she was Burried at the Rapids and before the Body was taken a Way from my House for Burial the Rev. Mr McNab (presbyterian) Held prayers over the Remains./ Thomas FLETT / St. Andrews north May 15, 1876 Scrip affidavit made at Winnipeg for her: I, William Irvine, of St. Andrews, Lisgar, say that Mary Irvine born in the said Parish on 6th April, 1869 is the late child of William Irvine a Half breed and of Elisabeth Irvine. The said William Irvine is a Half Breed Head of family, and was residing in the Province of Manitoba on the 15th July, 1870. The said Mary Irvine died in the parish of St. Andews at the age of one year & 4 months (as shewn by the certificate herewith attached) on the month of August 1870, leaving as sole heir her father, the said deponent.
