a. Note:   OBITUARY Died October 11,1998 at Selkirk General Hospital, Selkirk, Manitoba, Peter Richard Orvis died at 90 years of age. Born Jan. 29, 1908 to William and Josephine Orvis. Resided in Traverse Bay and Grand Marais most of his life. Love of nature, loved hunting, fishing, trapping and was a hard worker. Survived by daughter Illa, son Leslie and their children, three sisters, Julia Edwards, Ada Thomas and Cecilia Knott. Funeral Oct. 15, 1998, Ste. Marguerite Roman Catholic Church, Traverse Bay
 Rev. Father Francois Paradis officiating. Interment in Traverse Bay cemetery. Pallbearers; Helmut Schroder, Bill Sanderson, Bob Knott, Lorne Knott, Nick Siegel and Ken Edward. Special thanks to staff at Red River Personal Care Home, Selkirk, Man.
