  Annie Lorraine Stephenson Clapp
 BURLINGTON - Mrs. Annie Lorraine Stephenson Clapp, 79, of 7201 Shoe Road, Burlington died at the residence of her daughter, Debbie Marsh, of Randleman on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 5:05 p.m.
  A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Buddy Dexter Clapp and the daughter of Cecil Monroe Stephenson and Clara Montgomery Stephenson, both deceased. Annie was a member of Brick Reform United Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family for 60 years. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her loved ones. She left her legacy of jewels behind but never to be forgotten.
  Survivors include five daughters, Leatrice C. Brothers of Franklinville, Debbie C. Marsh of Randleman, Gail C. Wyrick of Greensboro, Emily Overman of Burlington and Beth C. Hill of Franklinville; six sons, Dexter Clapp of Elon, Timothy Clapp of Julian, Richard "Bubba" Clapp of Whitsett, Allan Clapp of Gibsonville, Phillip Clapp "Pee Wee" of Snow Camp and Joshua "Josh" Clapp ofWhitsett; three sisters, Kathryn S. Burchett of Greensboro, Anita S. Kelly of Painter, Va., and Ruth S. Williams of Charleston, S.C.; 27 grandchildren; and 17 greatgrandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Clapp; three sisters, MaryElizabeth Stephenson, Inez Dalton and Vera Bowman; and two brothers, C. T. Stephenson
  and Willard Stephenson. The funeral service will be conducted at Brick Reform United Church of Christ on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Kristin Gerner Vaughn and the Rev. Robert Boyd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
  The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
