  Mr. George E. Baldwin Jr.
  GREENSBORO - Mr. George E. Baldwin Jr., 85, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Beacon Place, after a year of critical illness.
 Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Terry Larson officiating.
 Mr. Baldwin was born in Guilford County, June 29, 1920 to George E. and Eva Baldwin . He served in the 25th Field Artillery in the U.S. Army, during World War II and was a Prisoner of War. He was a member and an officer of The Woodmen of the World and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
 Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife, Jewel Whitesell Summers Baldwin of the home; stepsons Boyd Summers of Burlington and Jerry Summers and wife Glenda of Gibsonville; stepgrandchildren, Amber Summers, Jesse Summers and Jake Summers; a cousin, Willie Johnson and special friend, Lisa Miller.
 The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, prior to the service.
 Arrangements are under the direction of Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service.
