  BERTHA WHITESELL STEWART
  Mrs. Bertha Whitesell Stewart, 87, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, at the Evergreens.
  A graveside service for Mrs. Stewart will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, in Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery.
  She was a native of Guilford County.
  She was retired from Cone Mills, White Oak Plant, and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
  She is survived by five daughters, Virginia Anderson Vernon, Mary Anderson Burchett, Maxine Anderson Fogleman and husband, Floyd, Peggy Anderson Pal
