 Mrs. Golden Carey Mansfield
 BURLINGTON - Mrs. Golden Carey Mansfield, 79, of 1935 Trail 5, died Thursday January 29, 2004, at Edgewood Place.
 A native of Madison County, Ga., she was wife of the late James E. "Bud" Mansfield and daughter of the late Ammie C. and Janie Beard Carey. Mrs. Mansfield was a member of First United Methodist Church of Elon and a retired textile employee.
 Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. M.E. Dudley of Royston, Ga. and Mrs. Janie Saye of Danielsville, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Mrs. Mary C. Dowd.
 Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday January 31, 2004, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Randy Maynard. Entombment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Mansfield will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 this evening, and other times at her residence.
