  Edwin P. Whitesell
  Funeral services for Edwin P. Whitesell. 62, whose death at Elon College, occurred Sunday were held yesterday afternoon at the home. Interment was Magnolia cemetery at Elon.
 Officiating at the final rites were Rev. G. O. Lankford and Rev. J. Frank Apple. Music was rendered be a quartet composed of Mrs. Chas. Jeffries, Mrs. Williams, B. H. McCarn and J. W. Barney.
 Pallbearers were: H. D. Lambeth, G. R. Keck. G. T. Wagoner. T. H. Keck, E. B. Crouse, and J. F. Wagoner.
 Honorary pallbearers were J. B. Gerringer, R. N. Isley, Arlie Huffines. H. H. Huffines, W. T. Gerringer.
