  Boyd Lynn "Bob" McPherson
  SNOW CAMP - Mr. Boyd Lynn "Bob" McPherson , 84, of 7957 Beale Road, Snow Camp, died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 7:50 p.m. following two weeks of critical illness.
 A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Eloise Whitesell McPherson and the son of Henry DeWitt McPherson and Harriett Rawnsley McPherson , both deceased. He was a retired carpenter. He was a lifelong member of Rock Creek United Methodist Church, where he was an usher, a member of the Ed Sledge Friendship Sunday school class, past chairman of the Cemetery Association, former trustee, and a member of the United Methodist Men.
 Survivors include two daughters, Cathy M. Curtis and husband, Jerry, of Graham and Marilee M. Kivett and husband, Mitchell, of Snow Camp; a son, Henry F. McPherson and wife, Dawn, of Snow Camp; four grandchildren, Brittany McPherson , Andrew Kivett, Lindsey McPherson , and Morgan McPherson ; one stepgrandchild, Jay Curtis; and three great-stepgrandchildren, Hunter, Madeline, and Grayson Curtis.
 He was preceded in death by three sisters, Josie McPherson , Rachel Brintle, and Laura Smith; and four brothers, Raymond McPherson , Jack McPherson , William McPherson , and Donald McPherson .
 The funeral will be conducted at Rock Creek United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Jim Folks and the Rev. John Varden. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
 The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.
