b. Note:   N22909 Pleasant Garden - Ollie Harrell Walker May, 94, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC.
  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Forbis & Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel.
  Ollie was born in Lee County, NC on October 7, 1920 to the late Nathan and Mary Harrell. She retired in 1986 from Southeast High School, where she worked in food service. She was also member of Welkers Crossroads Evangelical Methodist.
  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Corbett Walker, her second husband William McKinley May and her son Leo May.
  Mrs. May is survived by her daughters, Barbara Durham of Greensboro, NC; Lynda Andrews and husband Wallace of McLeansville, NC; Brenda Shropshire and husband Rick of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Marcia Jenkins and husband Richard of Browns Summit, NC; her son Ronnie May and wife June of Julian, NC; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
  The family will receive friends after the service on Sunday October 19, 2014 at Forbis & Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel, with interment to follow at Mt Hope United Church of Christ.
