  Alene Euliss Dorsett
  Alene Euliss Dorsett, 104, of Burlington, passed away on February 28, 2018 at the Hospice Home.
 She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. She farmed with her husband and was a housewife.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Dorsett, and an infant son who died at birth. She was the daughter of the late Eli Columbus and Beulah Shepard Euliss. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, Palmer T. Euliss, John H. Euliss, Amie E. Pike, Mabel E. Murray and Jewel Euliss. She had eight nieces and nephews.
  The funeral service will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, Liberty.
  The family would like to thank The Village at Brookwood and The Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell for the excellent care and many acts of kindness shown by the nurses and staff.
