  W. Carl Keck
 BURLINGTON - Mr. W. Carl Keck , 86, of 2712 Pine Trail Road, Burlington, and the last several years of Burlington Manor, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 5:25 p.m. following several years of declining health.
 A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late George Rogers Keck and Mittie Jane Whitesell Keck . He was a farmer and construction worker. He was a member of St. Mark's Church.
 Survivors include a brother, Mr. J. Alex Keck and wife, Joyce, of Burlington; one niece, Mrs. Jennie K. Hallsey and husband, Jim; and one nephew, Mr. George A. Keck and wife, Helen.
 He was preceded in death by one brother, George McCoy Keck . The funeral will be conducted at St. Mark's Church on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ben Bishop. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
 The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times they will be at the residence of a brother and his wife, Alex and Joyce Keck , 2544 Anthony Road, Burlington, N.C.
 Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Church, 1230 St. Mark's Church Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
