  Posie Lee Clubb
  BURLINGTON - Mr. Posie Lee Clubb, 82, of 905 McPherson Road, Burlington passed away at his residence on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 6:36 p.m.
  A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of 58 years to the late Sue Carol Clapp Clubb and the son of the late Lucy Farrior Clubb.
  Mr. Clubb retired from Piedmont Natural Gas. He was an avid guitar player who loved country and bluegrass music. Posie also loved ACC basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gibsonville where he formerly served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher.
  Survivors include his daughters, Jan Boswell and husband Jim of Wilmington and Jill Smith and husband Bobby of Burlington; five grandchildren, Neil Boswell and wife Stacie, Kristen McGuire and husband Trent, Brent Boswell and wife Lauren, Kourie Underwood and husband Darryl, and Daniel Axsom; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Boswell, Elizabeth Underwood, Gracie McGuire, Aiden Underwood, Cailyn Boswell, Caroline McGuire and Joseph Boswell; and his beloved poodle, "Tiger".
  The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 1 p.m.by Rev. Jason Hamlett.
  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m.
  In lieu of flowers, memorials maybemadeto the Humane Society of Alamance County, P. O. Box 5117, Burlington, NC 27216.
