Chiesa di San Rocco
Nel XVI secolo si iniziò a costruire la cappella di S. Rocco, i cui costruttori furono Bello di Valenzano, figlio di mastro Antonio, di circa 60 anni, Mastro Cola di Forenza (Prov. di Potenza) della stessa età e da mastro Cola Salata di Valenzano di circa 60 anni; era arciprete all'epoca don Leonardo De Rosa. Questa cappella, edificata a spese della "Università" di Valenzano, ormai non esiste più. Essa doveva sorgere al posto del transetto della attuale chiesa di S. Rocco, a fianco della torre campanaria, completamente rifatta agli inizi del "900". L'odierna chiesa è stata edificata sulle rovine del vecchio tempio il 1586; lo testimonia l'incisione ancora evidente sul frontespizio triangolare dell'ingresso laterale su via municipio.
Church of San Rocco
In the sixteenth century it began to build the chapel of St. Rocco, whose builders were Bello Valenzano, son of Master Antonio, about 60 years old, Master Cola Forenza (Province of Potenza) of the same age and Cola Salt Valenzano of about 60 years, was dean at the time Fr Leonardo De Rosa. This chapel, built at the expense of the "University" of Valenzano, no longer exists. It was to be built in place of the transept of the present church of S. Rocco, next to the bell tower, completely rebuilt at the beginning of "900". The present church was built on the ruins of the old temple 1586; witness the incision still evident on the triangular pediment of the side street of the town hall.
