From the Philadephia Evening Bulletin for Tuesday, November 8, 1966, page 7:
"CAR KILLS WOMAN, 90
"Mrs. Rachel Raggio, 90, of 2043 S. Philip st., was killed by an automobile while crossing 2d st. at Snyder av., on her way to a store at 10 last night. Police said the card was driven by Joseph Hearn, 19, of 339 Emily st."
From the Philadelphia Inquirer for Thursday, November 10, 1966, page 22:
"RAGGIO
"Nov. 7, RACHELE, wife of the late Antonio, of 2043 S. Philip st., mother of John Raggio and Mrs. Marie Bertoline, 2 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral Fri., 8 A.M., LEONETTI FUNERAL HOME, N.E. corner Broad and Wolf sts. Solemn Requiem Mass, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 9:30 A.M. Int. Holy Cross Cem. View. Thurs. after 7 P.M. (parking facilities)."
(This death notice also appeared in the Bulletin on Wednesday, November 9, page 42. There was no report of the accident in the Inquirer.)
