Essie M. Cochran, 75
Mrs. Essie M. Cochran, 75, of Beall Street, died
Tuesday morning, December 17, at Upson County
Hospital. Mrs. Cochran was a native of Upson County
and was retired from Thomaston Mills. She was a
member of East Thomaston Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Wanda
Christine Hilley of Thomaston, and Mrs. Mary Sue
Oglesby of Chattanooga, Tenn., and two sisters: Mrs.
Irma Streetman and Mrs. Sarah Heath, both of
Thomaston. Six grandchildren and six great
grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for
Mrs. Cochran were held Thursday, December 19, at
2:00 p.m. in East Thomaston Baptist Church. Rev.
John Autry and Rev. Bob Williams officiated and
interment was in South View Cemetery. Pasley-
Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
