  MRS. WALTER J. POWELL
  Mrs. Walter J. Powell, 89, of 178 North Park Street, died early last Sunday morning, April 12, at the Virginia Nursing Home in Waukesha after a long illness.
  The former Lillian L. Keller was born in Jefferson August 14, 1880, the daughter of Leonard and Marguerite Stroebel Keller.
  She was married to Walter J. Powell May 10, 1910 in Jefferson. He died in 1933.
  Survivors are a son, Walter, Jr., Whitewater; one daughter, Mrs. Carl Asher, Wauwatosa; and three grandchildren. A son, Robert predeceased her.
  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ruth Circle, and past president of the Ladies Aid, and a former member of the New Century Club.
  Services were a 11 a.m. Tuesday of this week, April 14, in the Whitewater First Methodist Church Chapel, the Reverend Earl F. Lindsay officiating, with burial in Hillside Cemetery.
  Hickey-Kent Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
