 Lots of Piedmont Happenings
 Piedmont, July 25, -
Since our last letter to the TIMES, the white horse and its rider, death, has visited twin towns of the Potomac, and caused tears to flow, hearts to ache, and relatives to mourn for loved ones gone. His first visit was made to Westernport on Monday morning a 5 o'clock, when father John Mansfield, the venerable father of Capt. Wm. F. Mansfield, quietly passed away after a long life of usefulness, at the advanced age of about 85 years. His funeral took place from St. Peter's Catholic Church yesterday morning at 8 o'clock, and was largely attended, Rev. P. R. Weider officiating.
