  GEORGE KEULER
  George Keuler, 79, a well known resident of Jefferson, died at his home on North Main street Tuesday morning following an illness of 9 days.
  Mr. Keuler was born Feb. 23, 1858, a son of the late George and Johanna Keuler, in the town of Hebron. He married Kate Keller of that place on May 3, 1883, she preceding him in death. Four childrren were born to this marriage, three dying in inffancy. One daughter, Mrs. Wm. McNitt of Ft. Atkinson, and his wife, the former Martha Christians, whom he married on Nov. 24, 1908, survive him.
  Mr. Keuler was a man of strong christian character, patient and selfsacrificing, and will be greatly missed by his many friends and relatives. His home on North Main street, where he has lived for the past 36 years was a mecca for tourists who had heard of the reputation he had achieved as a wood carver. A model farm, complete in every detail and animated was one of his greatest achievements and brought him national recognition.
  Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 at the Evangelical church, the Rev. Wm. Bartel Officiating. Burial will be in the Evangelical cemetery near Helenville.
