Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Marsch, age 79, passed away Thursday, November 15, 1984 at a Canby, MN. hospital.
Mrs Marsch was born January 6, 1905 at Dempster, SD, a daughter of Mrs. And Mrs. Harm Knock. As a child she moved with her parents to the Moritz-Gary area where she grew up on a farm. She married Fred Marsch on November 26, 1930 at Lennox, SD.
After their marriage, they lived near Marietta, MN. They moved to Gary in 1945 where they have made their home ever since.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gary and the Ladies Aid of the Church. She was also a member of the Gate City Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Marsch is survived by her husband, Fred of Gary; four bothers, Abe Knock of Milbank; Herman Knock of Sioux Falls, Nicholas Knock of Marietta, MN and Frederick Knock of Clear Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Iwerks of Big Stone City, Mrs. John (Annie) Limberg of Revillo, SD and Mrs. Jabbo (Clara ) Westerman of Chokio, MN and many nieces and nephews.
