«/u»Anna Mae Knock, age 74, entered heaven's gate October 10, 2012, with her sister Carol holding her hand and her family at her bedside.
Anna Mae, daughter of Abraham and Kathryn (Bunger) Knock was born August 18, 1938, in Lac Qui Parle County, near Marietta, MN. She was baptized September 11, 1938, in the Antelope Valley Reformed Church and later the family took her with them to the Zion Presbyterian Church.
Since birth she was afflicted with Cerebral Palsy/Spastic Paralysis. She resided at home with her family for over 46 years, then due to her parent's health, she entered Saint Williams Nursing Home in Milbank on Dec 7, 1984. Her sister Carol moved her to Washington State on March 11, 1996, to be near her family.
Survivors include two sisters, Carol Knock and Frances (Dennis) Womack and one brother, Marvin. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held October 24th at 1:00pm at the Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, SD. Rev. Dr. DeVern Schwenn will officiate.
