Note: rris family with a James & William would be worth further evaluation.
The surviving 1841 Wormbridge census is very light but appears to indicate a Yes for James being born in the County of Herefordshire , however the 1851 Wormbridge census has him born outside of the County , what looks to read like London. The Census staticians definately deemed James as being born outside of the County with large X placed next to him and 2 others on the page not born in Herefordshire. Tom Fairhurst says definately not London and perhaps Longton ?
London is quite possible as the "D" does however look similar to a "D" the census taker wrote in "Lodger" next to Thomas Addis and the " N" looks like the "N" he wrote in Mason on the same page. Ancestry.com has transcribed it as London.
James had passed away sometime after 30th March 1851 and before the 7th April 1861 census where his wife was recorded as a widow.
As Wormbridge was in the Hereford registration district the following deaths on BMD need to be checked :

Deaths Mar 1859 HARRIS James Hereford 6a 387
Note: James was recorded as "batchelor of Abbey Dore" on the Parish marriage Register in 1820 .Witnesses at the marriage were a William Harris and James Jones and one would assume that William Harris was a close relative so locating a matching circa Ha
