a. Note:   h is recorded as on her marriage and death certificates and a daughters birth certificate as being County Clare and this is reinforced by her granddaughter Gwladys, who wrote that Annie was from Clare or Cork. On her daughter Annes birth certficate it however looks like it could read "Limerick".
  Her death certificate in June 1937 states 70 years in Victoria and if accurate would have Annie arriving in Australia in 1867. Annie died at the home of her daughter Anne at 95 Simpson street,East Melbourne and was buried at Kew Cemetery in the same grave as her last born child being her son William who had died in 1909. The Grave is in the Roman Catholic section, Compartment C, number 881 and there is an old brick and cement monument on the grave without a headstone.
Note:   The O'Grady name is from East Clare,Ireland. Her grandaughter Gwladys recalls Annie had bright red curly hair. Annies marriage and death certifcate both state she was 23 years old when married which would put her birth at 1852. Her place of birt
