Note: It would seem that Eliza was a witness to the wedding of her cousin Mary Ann Llelwleyn ( daughter of her Uncle Richard) at Kington on the 13th March 1815. She signed her name. Eliza , born at Dilwyn, appears with her youngest brother Arthur in the Eardisley 1851 census , She was 26 years of age and Arthur was 14 . Eliza was working as a shopwaiter at the time most likely in her fathers store. Amazingly another Eliza Llewellyn was at Eardisley, she was 30 years old born Radnor, Presteigne and married John Harper at Eardisley on 28 July 1853 ( batch M137092 ). They were both recorded living at the "Central Stores" in the 1861 census where this Eliza's birthplace was given as Presteigne, Radnor. This Eliza and her baby daughter Clara's deaths are recorded in the June quarter 1863 at the Presteigne district folio 11b page 131. It would appear that both died during or soon after childbirth. It would seem that Eliza Llewellyn born at Dilwyn must have passed away prior to 1st May 1869 as her father Philip named all her other siblings as beneficiaries in his will. There is the death of an Eliza Llewellin is recorded in Hereford reg. district Sept. qtr 1854 page 6a Vol 280. One would have expected our Eliza's death recorded at " Presteigne" district and surname spelt Llewellyn.
