Note: Jonathans parents must have moved from Lewisham, London to Lambeth, London sometime after the 1881 census and before his fathers death at Lambeth in 1888. They were living at 6 Stockwell Park Cresent., Lambeth which was only around the corner from the home of his future wife Louisa Llewellyn.
They married in 1899 but were apart during the 1901 census with Louisa residing at her parents house. Jonathan was most likely away ( possibly overseas) in his profession as a mining engineer at the 1901 census.
