Note: Norah was living with her husband and two children and a live in domestic servant in North Leyton , Essex in the 1901 census. Her husband Philip died in the March quarter 1943 in the Camberwell district near London.
Norah returned to London from New Yook on the "SS Queen Elizabeth" in November 1946.
On the 30th May 1948 she arrived back form Quebec on the SS Ascanya listing her " proposed address" as Longfield Kent. It is likely she intended to reside with her sister Louise who was more likely the owner of the Longfield Kent property. The family has a picture of this large house and garden.
Auntie Robin Mcgurgin recalls corresponding with a cousin Nora who later died of breast cancer.
