"Thomas J. Cooper's death certificate says that he was single and a farmer. The doctor on Record was Dr. Finis Ewing Wyatt of Yorkville, Tenn. Thomas J. died of pneumonia. His nephew with whom he was living, A.J. Cooper, Jr., signed as informant on the death certificate. His mother was listed as Walton. (Eliza C. Walton married Thomas Cooper in Williamson Co. on 24 Oct. 1822).
