a. Note:   Obituary - Victoria Advocate:
 Yoakum - Mrs. Frieda Coldewey, 93, died Thursday at 12:20 a.m. at a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 29, 1888 in Columbus, Texas and was a long-time resident of Yoakum. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. D. I. Dolton officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Ruby Lee) Harbers of Yoakum; three sons, Emil Coldewey and Victor Coldewey, both of Yoakum, and Charles Coldewey of Shiner; a brother, Elo Buenger of Yoakum; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband Herman Coldewey in 1959; a daughter, Annie Bell Wehman in 1953; and two brothers, Emil and Otto Buenger. Pallbearers are Bob Harbers, Gene Harbers, David Coldewey, Clyde R. Wehman, Frank Pavias and Steve Dickinson.
