The house at 511 North South Street where Mary lived from 1914 until her death in 1942 is still standing (and occupied) in 2005.
  Settlement of Estate:
Mary died without a Will and her estate was settled by her heirs, O.C. Buenger, Mrs. Frieda Coldewey, wife of H.G. Coldewey, Elo A. Buenger and Emil H Buenger. In the provisions of the settlement, each of the four would receive equal shares.
Assets in the Estate included $49.27 in a checking account and $2404.61 in a savings acount, both at Yoakum National Bank; the house at 511 North South Street; eight (8) shares of North American Trust; a $300 Note dated Oct. 1, 1941 bearing 6% interest and signed by H.G.  Debts of the Estate included Beck Mortuary, $294.24; L.B.S. Richter, M.D., $11.00; Mary W. Buenger, $2.76 (for telephone); V.C. Schiller, $6.75 (for groceries), Huth Memorial Hospital, $18.50; O.C. Buenger, $2.70 (for lights and water).
O.C. Buenger was appointed the agent of the Estate with power to settle all debts and make all distributions.
 Distribution of the Estate included:
 1) Freida Coldewey accepted the $300 Note as part of her share,
 2) Elo Buenger accepted the $420 Note as part of his share,
 3) Each of the four heirs received two (2) of the shares in North American Trust, and
 4) After all debts and expenses were paid, the remaining money was to be distributed to the four heirs equally, taking into account the distribution of the two Notes.
It was also decided that the house at 511 North South Street was to be rented and O.C. Buenger was to collect the rent and pay all required expenses to maintain the property in good condition. Any remaining proceeds were to be distributed equally to the four heirs.
In addition, the heirs selected a monument to be placed at the grave of Mary and agreed that the price of the monument ($125) would be deducted from the Estate before any distributions.
The Estate Settlement was signed and dated August 14, 1942 at the offices of Wimberly and Wimberly, Attorneys At Law in Yoakum, Texas.
