"Adolph F. Schmidt - Yoakum - Adolph Frank Schmidt, 91, of Yoakum, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000. He was born Aug. 15, 1909, in Hochheim, to the late Fran and Augusta Ludwig Schmidt. He was a farmer and consignee of petroleum products and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors: daughter, Margaret Kolar of Moulton; son Clifford Schmidt of Lufkin; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: wife. Alma Immenhauser Schmidt; parents; sisters, Ida Huth, Edna Polzin and Hilda Riedle; brothers Monroe Schmidt and Walter Schmidt.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Buffington Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Rev. Ildiko Rigney officiating. Burial will be at Hermann Sons Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum, 293-2333. Memorials: Holy Cross Lutheran Church."
