Notes
a. Note:   OBITUARY: Transcript of Robert I. Moore's obituary as it appears in the Thursday, May 6, 1909, edition of the Gonzales WEEKLY INQUIRER newspaper. This paper is on microfilm at the Gonzales County Public Library in Gonzales, Texas.
"Died at Dreyer - Mr. Robert I. Moore was born in Texas on Nov, 26, 1866; married Miss Ella Thurmond of Dyersburg, Tenn. April 1 1888; and died April 21, 1909. He was 43 years, 4 months, 25 days old and left an aged mother, a wife and nine children, and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
Brother Moore had lived a Christian life since he converted and joined the Baptist Church 12 years ago and he told me a short time before his death that he was not afraid to die, but regretted that he hadn't been as faithful in the service of our Lord as he might have been.
The Lord comfort the bereaved and may they realize that "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord".
