 "News of the death of Mr. Frank Moore was received in the city this morning, which sad event occurred at his home a few miles east of this city on last night at 11:15 o'clock, after an illiness extending over a period of several years. The burial will take place this afternoon at the Stevens Cemetery at 4:00 o'clock.
  Mr. Moore, who was about 40 years of age, was a prominent farmer of his neighborhood, and a son of Mr. Moore, and grandson of Dr. Tinsley, a former well known Gonzalian. Deceased leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death."

 "The remains of Mr. Frank Moore were interred in the Guadalupa Cemetery last Monday. To the bereaved family we extend our heartfelt sympathy."
  Maurin was a small community between Gonzales and Shiner, near another community known as Denton Creek. Nothing remains of Maurin today.
  Many of the children of Frank and Dolly died of TB.
