records show that Wooten is correct. In the 1850 census for Habersham county
GA, there are three men named Aaron Wooten, one with a wife Huldah, one shown
as living with Joseph Waldrope as "Inmate", the other with a wife Rachel. We
believe that this man is the one living with Joseph Waldrope and tha this wife
is Mahulda C. Waldrope. His place of birth is shown as "SC" in the book by
Herbert B. Kimzey titled Early Genealogical and Historical Records, Habersham
County.
