Information about place of birth came from records of Joseph Brown Waldrep, Jr although Joe shows her first name as Matilda. Careful reading of the original Marriage records show Mahulda as her name.

38, Line 23. Her married name, Wooten, is very evident in the cemetary at the Providence Baptist Church, but her name was not researche dat the time Lloyd and Jim Waldrep walked the cemetary in 1993.
Birth date taken from the 1834 school student listing for Huldah Waldrup on
Page 26 of the book written by Betty Sisk and Ellene Gowder which i stitled
"Once Upon a Time: Schools of Habersham County Georgia, 1818-1955. She is
shown as 12 years old.
