  Thomas and Retensa Moody were first buried in the old Moody cemeter ynear White Oak Church. In about 1927, a storm came through and uprooted a big tree which uprooted the graves. John Oliver (Dutch) Wilson and John McCamey Wilson picked up what they could find and moved them to White Oak where they are buried in a single grave. A common headstone is in place and still plain to read. At the foot is a civi lwar marker for Thomas Moody.
