a. Note:   N573 English first name of "Saul" assumed from Irv's tree that has him listed just below Riva Hoffman on the first page of H. Changed spelling to "Sol" based on email received 5/20/2016 from granddaughter Nikki (Hoffman) Hotchkiss-Meissner at n.hotchkiss0612@@gmail.com. She said that her grandpa Sol came from Canada to Akron in 1916. The Social Security death index has 1/25/1897 as Sol’s date of birth and the California death index has 1/25/1898 in New York. According to Nikki, she is positive about his birth on “1-25-96 in Vilnius, Lithuania and he had the accent to go with it. My step grandmother gave the wrong info to the mortuary in California and if you look at his info for military purposes it has all the proper dates and place of birth.”
  Sol was a Kosher butcher and before that he moved pianos.
