Note: Michael's will (and later Margaret's) only mention his son Peter and Peter's children. No mention is made of any other children or grandchildren. I do not know what the source is for his other children.

Michael Vandervoort, 16 Mar 1781, of Bedford, Kings Co. Wife Marrigretie, son, Peter, grandchildren Michael, Neetie and Antie, children of Peter. Executors: Brother Paul, neighbors Lambert Suydam and Barrent Lefferts Lefferts and friend Barrent Johnston of Wallabought. Witnesses: Peter Kouwenhoven, Lambert Vandervoort and Jan Vandervoort (of Bedford). Proved 8/10/1804. All witnesses attested to the will.

The tankard belonged originally to Michael Vandervoort, who was born in 1725, and then to his son, Peter, born in 1751. It was inherited by Peter's granddaughter, Cynthia, who married Henry Gleason and by their daughter Amy Vandervoort Gleason.
