  1921: 'Thelma Windham [White] was my best friend in grade school. Thelma's mother, Rosa, made my first party dress. Thelma and I took the train to Columbia, SC in 1921 and were married in a double ceremony. My 'Popa' was not happy when he found out that I had run away and eloped.' [from Sybil's memoirs] Thelma was also a sister of Marie Windham, who married Sybil's brother, Owen Frederick Woodham. (1995-1996 memories)
  1940: Sybil remembered her friend, Valerie Jacobs Baker, who helped wash clothes. Valerie was the daughter of Ned Jacobs, and wife of Wallace Baker. Her family is enumerated in the 1940 Philadelphia, Darlington, SC census.
  1940: Sybil remembered Esther 'Knocker' King in her memories. Esther King and family enumerated in the 1940 Oates, SC census between the Jason Kea family and Harry Kea family.
  1998: Her personal papers are in the possession of her youngest son, Larry.
  2003: 'Mom said I was named after Sybil Woodham Kea; I finally met her.' [Sybil Marie Taylor Dixon, jedix5@@cs.com] Sybil Taylor is a step-daughter of Mrs. Redden Marie Windham (Woodham) Taylor.
  2009: The childhood home of Sybil is still in use in 2009.
