  1700: Robert (Kay) witnessed land deed dated 8 October 1700, of James Jones to Charles Brown.
  1702: Captain Robert Kea was attached to Lt. Col. Samuel Bridger's unit at Isle of Wight County, Va., 10 March 1702. Lt. Col. Bridger's company included Maj. Henry Baker, Capt. Humphrey Marshall, and Capt. Arthur Smith. (Public Records Office, London, England.)
