1777: From Richard Tomlinson and wife Ann to Henry Kea; 75 acres on south side of Town Creek, joining Ralph Vickers; Edgecombe Co Deed Book 3, page 943, 1/3/1777. (Henry is age 25)
1778: Henry Kea and wife Mary to Thomas Davis, 5 acres, on south side of Town Creek, beginning at red oak Ralph Vickers line, then east 100 poles to pine, then south 127 1/2 poles to a post, then 100 poles to Ralph Vickers line, then to Vickers line 127 poles to the first station. Edgecombe County Deed Book 3, page 377, dated 11/28/1778, recorded 2/1779. (Henry is age 26)

1827: Henry Kea to son Richard Kea, 255 acres adjoining Robert Strickland, John Harrell, John Knight heirs, Drew Pender, and Ben Dickens. Being the land Henry and wife live on, reserving lifetime estate. Edgecombe County Deed Book 19, page 76, deed dated 6/27/1827, recorded 11/1827. (Henry was age 75)
1832: Henry applied for Rev War Pension, age 79; he served with NC Line.
1833: Henry, age 81, 4/9/1833, Edgecombe County, North Carolina.
1840: Henry, age 87, enumerated as Rev War vet in the 1840 Edgecombe County, NC census, electronic. Henry adjacent to John Kea, age 40 under 50 (only person).
1841: Henry, age 87; Edgecombe County, N.C.
1842: Will of Henry Kea names wife, Sarah; daughter, Elizabeth Owen; son, William; son, John; son, Wilie, daughter, Nancy (William) Bell; and daughter, Mary.
